Bump Neck Sizing 8x68S

I'm needing advice on bumping and neck sizing of 8x68S fire formed brass. There is little support for this calibre and no one manufactures bushing dies for them. I use the Forster bump neck bushing dies for 270 and 30-06 with very good results bumping the neck 0.002" and I was wondering if there are any reloaders out there who reload and bump other calibres that are not main stream enough for commercial bushing bump neck dies?

From what I understand you will always do some case forming trying to bump the neck with a full length die and you won't be able to bump the shoulder with a neck sizing die. This is essentially a hunting rifle and I don't want to struggle to close the bolt with dust and the dirt on the hunt.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Howdy !

I shoulder bump .35Remington cases, that I shoot single-shot in my Marlin M-336XLR: used as a target rifle.

I found that I could co-op for use a .380 ACP sizing die. I utilized the die’s bevel @ the mouth of the die’s entrance. My .35Rem neck ODs jUst clear the die’s inner side walls. The die is long enough to allow the bumping action, to take place.

You might be able to utilize a .33Winchester die, even considering the slightly larger shoulder diam and neck diam compared to your 8x68S case.
If the two have shoulder angles anywhere’s close.... the .33Win die might just work. I have used die’s to bump shoulders where similar case dimension differences also existed.
