I had a light hammer strike on a 10-22 with Volquartsen fire control..I sent an email to Vol and got a reply(not in 2 months-not in 2 weeks but 2 HOURS) along with 2 prints to identify the type hammer springs used.. and an offer to send a free spring....I wanted to change from wraparound to yoke and shaft spring...Shortly an email came asking me to send the unit in for adaptation to the new assembley...I told them I could do the work(stretching the truth but not quite breaking it) andwould pay for the new parts...
Another email suggested a jig would be required for alignment of the strut..I gave up and sent the trigger assembley in....In less than 7 days I received a new assembley, frame, springs, pins, all new. NO CHARGE, THEIR FREIGHT....By the way the old unit had lots of years comp on it, Grinding on the frame bending of ejector other field mods..No mention of this by the reps... I had contact with 2 Reps 1 lady and 1 gent..Both last named VOLQUARTSEN..LT
