Anyone use one on your 1000 yds. BR gun/pro and con??

I have three, all of the screw in type (not the ones with the slip over collar). I have boosted two 8-25 Leupold VXIII for F class & one 8-24 BR Nightforce to give me the same power as a 12-42 but with the extra 10 MOA adjustment. I have shot 1000 yard BT with the NF but you might find the extra boost it gives to the crosshair diameter not to your taste.

The only issue I had was when my vision changed after I had cataract surgery. I have j-u-s-t enough capacity to clear the crosshairs on the Leupold with the most boost.

Haven't used the booster on my BR rifle, but I do have a couple of the boosters, both the slip on and the one that screws in. I do suggest following the instructions on their website to a 'tee' as far as deciding which power to order. First one I ordered, I decided I didn't need to be bothered with a phone call and just ordered the 3x.....nope, should have made the call. Those folks will talk you thru the process and make sure that you get the booster that will work for you. Once I talked with them, the one they recommended works like a champ....only downside is the slightly increased reticle size, but the boosters works very well for me. ymmv of course.

Last time I visited, they had very specific instructions about how you should go about assessing the power you could handle - and the best lens type for the shooting you do - but that was a year or several back.
