bulzeye booster. Are these for real?

I have a extra t36. Does the bulzeye booster actually work? I would like to bring it up to 45x, but don’t want to loose clarity. Trying to avoid buying yet another scope.

Yes it works. I used one on a Vortex Razor HD 5-20. I don't know what equivalent power it ended up, but it was higher. However, you are adding another lens so it will not be as bright or sharp as the original scope. It is not a huge difference but you will notice it. I had the one in a rubber housing that slips over the eyepiece. You do need to make sure you get the correct booster for your scope. Their web site takes you through the process to figure out which booster is right for your eyes and your scope.

They give you increased magnifcation but reduce eye relief a pretty fair amount. I would not use one except for a light recoiling round. They do work I have used one in the past.

Most important is to check the guidelines on the website & select the power boost no stronger than their recommendations.

I have three that I use for various purposes, all with at least the boost you're talking of or more.

I took the lens off an old tasco spotting scope and added it to a 24x scope...playing with it I got it close to 36x power but it worked ok just playin around though...the thick duplex CH would fit into a 30 cal hole at 100 with a little room to see the outside of the 30 cal hole...but it took some moving around and adjusting

I used a couple of these a very long time ago. I did not care for them at all. The more you boost, the blurrier it gets. I never used mine other than trying it out.
