Bullseye Target System

3 of us just purchased one. We loaded the software from a flash drive onto a laptop yesterday, but have not used it yet. We contemplated building one, however decided to forego gathering all of the needed components and chose the Bullseye instead. It comes in a foam lined hard case. Right now the plan is to use it at a 600 yard maximum range. This should be a fairly economic system provided we do not need to purchase any add ons, such as a yagi antenna. We went with the $550.00 long range unit. Wish that I could help you more, but we will probably not test it for a week or so yet. I can put you onto a stocking dealer. One other thing is that they offer a 2 year repair or replaxe warranty should you accidently shoot the camera or other component. ;D the cost for that is $30.00

I have had one for about a yr and a half now. I like mine, but they have limitations.

I like it better since they added the app to run it on a tablet. Now I don't have to drag the laptop to the field.

It will not resolve holes in black targets, at least not on my range. For me that's not a problem, I just turn my F class targets over, the rings are clearly defined, so I draw the rings in on the back with a wide marker, no problems, but I can still lose shots in the rings. I've been using a blue marker, I ma switch to red to fix this.

I've been told that if you tape over the light sensor and let the camera power up in night/IR mode holes in black show up. I haven't tried that yet. I have the 1000 yard version, I use mine pretty regularly at 600 and 1000 on the range at Oak Ridge and it works well.

My biggest issue is remembering to go up on the berm and get the camera after I take the target down and put it in the shed. The furthest I've gotten is half way home.

A bit of a expensive mistake for me I'm afraid.

As soon as I go beyond 300 yards (using the 1000 Yard model) the connection drops out when pairing it with my Ipad. Previously I had been trying it on a old laptop, the furthest I got with that was 200 yards, but I put that down to the laptop.

It's neatly packaged and is very easy and quick to set up, just a pity about the connection problem.

I bought one of the 1000yd versions a year ago. Tried using it with my laptop, and had no problems getting connected at 600yds, but I need to find some sort of anti-reflection screen for the laptop's display. No way to see anything useful from prone without getting completely out of position, and even then, it's just a royal PITA to see anything on a computer display. Surely there's something simple that others have tried that solves this issue?

Use something (a milk crate for example) to raise the laptop off the ground, so that it's higher or level with your head. Then adjust the display so that it's canted downward and shaded. Since I use a milk crate to move my stuff around, it didn't require anything extra.

I like mine a lot. If you use the infrared feature you can get it to show holes in black targets. Call them as they have great customer service and are good people they can talk you through it.
