Check out Target Vision. I love it.I tested one of the early versions and it worked amazingly well except for the previously mentioned PC screen contrast issues. The software was capable of resolving overlapping 22 rf holes in the black! I also found the radio link worked much better if I got both ends elevated of the ground. I had it working great at 1036 yards.
Mine goes out to 1000 yrds no problem. Depends on the model.I also have the TargetVision. My only complaint is if the camera isn't pointed at the receiver, you might wait 30 seconds or more for impact.
It's great on a hazy day. Can't see squat with scope but target is cristal clear.
The only thing I have read bad on the Bullseye is you need a wifi booster out beyond 500 yards.
Didn't Caldwell just start making one?
+1 I didn't need a booster to get to the 1036 yards but I think the connection strength depends on the WiFi antenna built in to the PC. I could see the connection strength vary if I stood up with my PC and rotated 360 degrees. I never lost the signal but others at my club tried the Bullseye and did need the booster.Mine goes out to 1000 yrds no problem. Depends on the model.
Great system. Works well. The limiting factor is your display. I use an Android tablet, the Samsung S2 Galaxy. That display works well in the natural light. The PC based software is a more versatile tool as it allows you to save your sessions, which can't be done with the Android version. Finding a PC that has a display that works outdoors and can take the range environmental conditions, pushes you to a Toughbook, which is pricey. You will probably end up fabricating some type of support system for the camera, depending on your range environment.
Customer support is very good. I recommend the system.
