Bullets

I recently bought a hundred Berger 105 vld and they were not right , about 1/4 from tip there's lines up and down that you can hang your fingernail on, contacted the people I got them from and they wouldn't do anything said I have to go strait to Berger, so I did and their customer service is great and they are taking care of it and am pleased with Berger. But disappointed with the place I got them from for not wanting To help me or get me some bullets. But what I was wondering are any other people experiencing any problems with berger bullets? Thanks FYI not doggin anybody or nothing like that just wanna see if there are more with problems. Thanks.

nope very unusual for any of the major bullet companies to have that type of damage especially berger even for their blems. Berger will take care of the problem.

Oppisite for me.....just sorted 1500 Berger 108 BT's. They ALL...ALL... went into three groops after I found my Zero when sorting for bearing serfice. -.002, -.001, and .000. only three piles ZERO "flyers"....NONE. Basicaly + or - .001.

Pure Quality!! Best I have ever seen. I am sure you got that one-in-a-thousand box.

Walt Berger does't sell Blems, I heard that straight from his mouth!

I've found some like you mention also. Looks like a light crease in the jacket. Only found a small number of them and used them for fowlers. It does make you think when it comes time to order more.

I have a tub of JLK's like that and they said it's normal and that it makes no difference to accuracy since the bullet is spinning a gazillion rpm's and it's "all round" (paraphrased). On the target it doesn't seem to matter either they just bughole.

Found a few defects (at the junction of the plastic tip and the jacket) in a box of Noslers 50 BT's. I've been using them for years and never found had any defects before. Wrote Nosler and they sent me a replacement box. I consider Nosler one of the highest quality bullets on the market so even they can have a slip up once in awhile but they made good on it.

I'm interested to see what they say, i had to send them 5 bullets to show them what they look like, they said on the phone that they shouldnt be like that at all on there target bullets but there hunting bullets were like that on purpose for expansion reasons. So will see. I'll let yall know.
