Bullets - Good Deal or Not ?

Went by one of my "somewhat" local gun shops last week and they had acquired (from an estate) some 168 gr 30 cal Hornaday Match bullets in the old red and white cardboard boxes (see pic below). I bought 10 boxes @ $15.00 per box ($150.00 total) out the door just because they were cheap. He had more at that time, probably another 20 boxes or so.

I shoot mostly 168 Sierra Match Kings and Nosler Custom Competitions, never the 168 gr Hornaday's. I just punch paper, no competition........ except between friends.

My question is "is a good deal" and should I go back and buy more......if available?

It is more than a good deal. Could you pm me with the guys phone number so I can buy a few boxes?

Half scale,
I'm like you, shoot for fun and do not compete even though I try to be as meticulous as possible while employing precision reloading techniques. I used to shoot nothing but Sierra 168's and got a deal (not anywhere like you just found) on the Nosler Competition Bullets that I'm about to test through a relatively new Match Grade Hart 1:10. I'd say with the rising costs of bullets and their availability, go test those Hornady's and if they work in your rig, go buy everything that seller is willing to part with.
