One of the popular, regular features on our Daily Bulletin is the Saturday-at-the-Movies Showcase.
This weekly article features a series of related videos on a topic such as varmint rifles, optics, barrel-making, reloading, or marksmanship training (as examples).
A recent video showcase with optics comparison reviews was one of the most popular articles in the Bulletin in the last 12 months. Here is the story:

Video Showcase Story Writer Opening
We are looking for an individual who would help with this weekly feature at least twice a month. This will help free vital admin time for security work and other “mission critical“ tasks.
There are four basic tasks to perform to create a video showcase article:
1. Locate 5 to 7 quality videos on YouTube or other shareable video host. Copy the embed code and place that in the article.
2. Write an intro paragraph and one paragraph per video summarizing the key features of each video. Total word count is about 500 words typically.
3. Capture two or three screenshots (still images) showing important parts of some of the videos. The screenshots will then be sized and uploaded to appear in the article.
4. Create a lead photo for the story. This must be cropped and optimized, and contain a catchy title in words that appear on the photo. Here is an example:

There is not a great deal of research involved for each weekly showcase, and there is usually no time pressure. You can spend an hour checking out videos and then do the summary paragraphs one by one. The person handling the project must have some basic photo editing skills and be able to copy and paste HTML links. No video editing is required.
There will be some time involved watching the videos in full, and discerning where the key highlights are. It helps the viewers, for example, to state that a highlight appears at the X minute mark or, perhaps, a specific product is featured at the Y minute mark etc.

Saturday at the Movies: Riflescope Comparison Tests + Spotters « Daily Bulletin
For a benchrest, F-Class, or ELR competitor, the optic may easily be the most expensive component of the rifle. Even a hunter may spend as much on glass as he/she does on the rifle itself. Because scopes represent such a big investment, it is important to do some research before deciding what to...
