Bullet Weight Spread

I suggest you shoot the "3 at 139.86" along with the "3 at 140.26" to 1000yds, as one 6-shot group.
Color the ogives with 2 separate colors (like say blue & red) for POI identification of each set.
Alternating between the two sets from shot to shot (round-robin style).
Then report back to us the out come....

If you do, and if the bullets are of similar BtO and OAL, my input is that you will see no difference, and all 6 bullets will cluster into the same group. Or so is my experience until the weight variation is more substantial.

Heard the same thing at the Williamsport school.

Donovan,

I've looked back at my reloading and shooting records and can confirm that I had the rounds marked up in a similar manor to that as you suggested. See attached picture...

I would like to say that the table I produced above was the result of two weighing secessions (though the bullets were from the same batch), and the attached picture shows that 352 bullets were weighed in the first secession.

The rounds were used at the National Shooting Centre (Bisley) on the 1000yd Stickledown range in preparation for the British F-Class Training Weekend (for shooters wanting to start off in F-Class) which I attended approximately two weeks later in late Feb 2013.

I don't seem to have the appropriate score cards so can only draw the following conclusions :

1. My shooting records aren't as rigorous as I'd like...
2. Perhaps my shooting partner shot the loads (as we often share my rifle) - though I'm sure I shot them...

Thanks,
