There is a video on you tube. Shooting 1000 yard at Williamsport. It is John Buhay shooting in the World Open. The gun is only 35 pounds and a Remington. After he got his Bat dual port and moved his loading block up to the port, he was twice as fast. He shoots in around 25 seconds but that is slow for him. Matt

Good Tracker ? How about a SEB NEO RATIGAN with a CUSTOM EDGEWOOD FULL OFFSET LOAF TRIPLE STICHED. That's what i shoot

A good tracker is 6 inches wide up front, 2 inches in rear. Runs on Rails but its not a rail gun. They sit in sandbags. They move and adjustments sometimes need to be made. Very few videos made of guys shooting. Can't be on the firing line during record fire. The fastest guys are 10 to 13 seconds and been timed many times. Matt

My top port bat on my rail is probably the fastest single shot on earth. Second fastest is bart sauter shooting any left port with an ejector.

It's for my Heavy 600/1000 gun, a 300WSM. When all's ya's got is Spray-N-Pray it's gotta' ride like a rail to hit any slot A'Tall...

I got sick of having to stop and getting 2 tiny groups, 3" apart LOL

I do have a Heavy 6PPC but it runs on a Farley

I don't have a cruiser

The right equipment ? Like what ? We are talking single shot actions with no magazine.

Any dual port custom bolt action on a well tracking benchrest stock coupled with a very good front rest and rear bag arrangement is more than capable of putting one shot down range per second. It all comes down to the shooter to get it on target accurately and fast.

The bottom round in my Sure Feed, because that's the one you pull out each time, sets level with the port, making minimal movement to drop a round in the port.

Nice rig, next time I am out in Phoenix I'll give it my best shot. Better have a bunch of ammo on hand it my take more than one volley.

Hey Bart Hope all is well ! It made Ocock dizzy when he put it together. It was supposed to be Front 1/3 RED, Middle 1/3 WHITE , Back 1/3 BLUE but NOT MIXED. When i picked it up Kathy at Mcmillan said OOPS ! The reason i kept it was it came in 4 ounces lite.

5-5, Thats my back up gun. My Carolina is MY #1. Ocock has another build that is mine. A Bruno type 2 thats another freak, the same weight as the Red, White and Blue. Thats getting a Bat 3 Lug also in Chrome Moly. Serial # LBOO1 build by Bat for Bruno that fell into my hands.

I am not gonna say i am as fast as Bart, But i am not far behind.

An aimed shot a second is lightening fast. With a bag gun, realistically, if everything goes perfectly it I say I can do 7 to 8 seconds! Running a rail gun with a solid block keeping it from moving and a rubber band returning it to battery probably 12 to 13 seconds tops!

Dusty’s top feed action with one loaded and one on the ramp is probably the fastest rail out there!
