Bullet trimming and pointing?

I’m shooting a Berger 200.20X and wondering if i may see some advantage by trimming/pointing my bullets.

Currently my SD for 30 rounds is 7 and change with an ES in the teens.

In the shot marker at 600 yards, my load is showing an SD of 13 for 20 rounds.

Will properly trimmed and pointed bullets provide me any advantage? If so, what is the best way to do this? Sort bullets OAL or BTO before trimming? I’m a newbie to this and I see a lot of different ways it’s being done. Thanks in advance.

You mentioned ES/SD I'm afraid trimming and pointing is not gonna help in that department
Where it might help is uniforming, not necessarily increasing BC which should translate to less vertical on the target at 1K, if you really want to dive deep into this rabbit hole I suggest you call John/Diane Hoover at Bullet tipping and they will help you spend your $$
Bullet Tipping makes by far the best bullet trimmer and pointing die.
I sort my bullets by OAL then trim about 0.005" and then point.

I was just bringing up SD/ES at the muzzle to show load is consistent and the there is the SD of 13 at 600, which I would think would be inconsistent BC attributing to it.

Appreciate the suggestion I will check into those guys. I’ve been watching F Class John’s videos on the topic and he liked the Hoover too.

Trimming/pointing will help to uniform your BC which in theory will improve your ES numbers at the target. I'm not sure if Shotmarker is accurate enough to be meaningful information for this purpose but it has made me question some things and I've bought the tools to trim/point again to see if I can improve it. I think you'll see an improvement on target by just sorting OAL too. I'll second checking out https://bullettipping.com/
