I am reposting this from another forum, I did not get much response from my first posting, maybe it was in the wrong place.
Anyway about all I know is that the Tangent 8 ogive is pointier giving it a better BC.
Just wondering if one or the other stabilizes better and offers better accuracy.
I want to try some bullets from Precision Ballistics but am not sure which tip to order,
dual radius tangent 6/secant 9 at the tip, or a tangent 8 ogive at the tip.
I am looking for 90 and 95 gr., shooting from a Bartlien 6mm 5R, 1-8 twist, 24" barrel.
This will be used for bench rest and 200 yd. egg shoots.
Anyone willing to shed some light here?
Thanks,
John
