Agree that V-Max is the ticket.
In a .223 with a fast twist it’s hard picture anything better than the 53 grainers.

I have had good luck with the 53 gr VMax over Varget and CFE 223 in my Tikka 8 twist varmint. The 75 ELDM shoots great also.

My Tikka 8 twist varmint shoots the 50, 55, and 60 grain vmax's over CFE223 extremely well. It also like the 69 grain TMK's over varget.

Problem with shooting PDs is the range variance if using just one gun. Your 223 will work just fine with 75-80s in an 8 twist. Just not the best bullet for up to 300-400 yards. Beyond 500 yards the 75s shine. I think if your shots are all inside 500 yards, stick with 53 Vmax bullets and be done. Otherwise having 2 guns is the best option.

I'd try the 60 v-max first. If it is a no-go, the 55 Blitz King - then the Hornady 55 V-Max
