Bullet Puller

MR F-T/r
A friend gave me a bunch of his reloads. I know him very well so I trust his ammo. He's actually the guy that taught me to load. There are three different loads. One of them does very well in my rifle, while the other two don't. If you had 3 or 400 rounds to pull, what puller would you use?

Hornady Cam Lock. I have used it on several different calibers I reload for. Just need to remember to buy the correct collets for whatever caliber bullet you'll be pulling. And be aware, you don't have to clamp down on the handle super hard so as to scar up the bullets you pull. But a little steel wool with help remove whatever scars you do put on the bullet inadvertently.

I posted the same ques. on another forum. Ended up opting for the Hornady cam-lock. Zero marks on pulled bullets (300 ea.) and was able to use all the pulled bullets for reloads.

:)I've even used mine to "lengthen" some rounds that were seated too deep. A good clean collet puller is also great for this purpose. Just pull the bullet out a little and then run through the seater that's been set correctly. The trick to making sure the bullets aren't marked is to make sure the collet is clean, free of burrs or debris, and to not overtighten.
