Bullet Pointing Problem

I started using a bullet pointing die a few weeks ago. My groups have doubled in size, and the vertical has almost tripled!
There is no bulge on the bullets, so that is not the problem. It appears that what is happening, is that my bullet run-out went way up when I started pointing the bullets. I do not have a run-out indicator, but can see it with my eyes.
Could the seating die be the problem here? I am using the RCBS Gold Metal Match seating die.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jack

Check how the seating plug is bearing on the bullat as it seats- sounds to me like the bullet isn't getting supported properly as it's being seated.
