Bullet Measurements?

I've made bullets for about 45 years for my own consumption, and have sold some to close friends and a few other shooters. My records show that I've made about 275,000 which is less than 10% of the life of a good set of carbide dies. I didn't see any dimensional changes that I could measure. :D The commercial guys work on a whole different level and quite frankly I'm amazed at the level of quality that they produce given the numbers they make. I've been through both Hornady and Sierra and they are impressive operations. Thanks for the machinery posts Dave. Pretty cool to see that.

The Hornady A tip 110 is one the most uniform bullets I ever checked ever. That includes custom makers..... I don't know how they can do it OAL. are +- .001..... jim
