Bullet lenght for 6.5x55

Fellows: I asked about selecting a bullet for a Swedish m96 rifle in the reloading section and received a few answers.

What I have is Swedish m96 rifle with a L-W 29" barrel and 1-8.66 twist.

I'll be using the gun in CMP Vintage Sniper Matches fireing at 300 and 600 yards.

In the past Ive used various 140ish grain bullets in my other Swedish rifles but Im not certain that because of the OAL bullet length, bearing surface, etc of this weight bullet(s) they are the best choice.

What I'ld like to know is given that the twist rate is 1-8.66 is there a maximum bullet length I should limit my search for?

After you see the pictures, just let me know how many of each you would need, to see if your rifle likes them.
