Bullet for 6BR Calling Gun

Zale, I've tried both H-335 and H-322 Powder and both work very well. I would suggest you try both and see which one works best for you. Exit? Usually, if the Coyote is over 200 yds or so, the bullet will exit but it doesn't exit with a huge gapeing hole......Normally its about the size of a quarter or maybe a little larger........I have also used this cartridge/bullet on Groundhogs out to over 300 yds and its very deadly for this application also.....Try it, I think you will be plesantly suprised......Let me know if I can help....

you might try the 60gr varminter from sierra. I usually get them to around 3600 on a very short barreled 6br. it shoots quite often into the .2s and the bullets effects are devestating on most anything it hits. when I bought them some time back they were very inexpensive. I bought quite a few hundred of them at that time. I have also used the 70gr tnt with good effect. not as fast but that really does not matter that much unless you are at extreme distances. RG

My 6mm. BR-Norma is doing a great job with the 70 sierra @100 yds. But at longer dist. the groups are opening. Is it beacause of the 1-8 twist????
What accuracy can I expect with the 70 grs. @ longer distance, with the 1-8 ?
The 105 grs. are pretty good at all longer distances, but i was looking for more flat shooting, but like I said; groups start opening @ 150 yds or so.

I am sure that I have killed 300+ coyotes with a 60g Sierra HP. They are a tough bullet and do not tear big holes in yotes when shot at 3700-3900 fps out of a 6mm Rem. I would expect that they would do great on a coyote when shot out of a 6 BR at 3500-3600 fps. This Sierra 60g HP is unreal accurate, and groups in the 2's should be considered normal out of a 6 BR.

I shot between 32.5g-33.5g of H335 in my 6 BR's, and the H335 burns extremely clean at this powder charge. Also, use 7 1/2 or CCI-450,CCI-BR4's) with this load because then have a thicker cup.
