Bullet drift?

If you have a 100y zero and 1/8 moa clicks on your scope, you will get about 0.5-1.0 click at 400y. I.e. 1/16-1/8moa. Effectively, zero.

My long range F/Open guns, 260AI shooting 153.5gr bullets, 100y zero, I get 0.5moa spin drift at 1000y.

If holes in receiver are not aligned correctly-

Mounting a rifle scope off-axis, meaning not perfectly aligned with the bore axis, will cause the point of impact to deviate from the point of aim, especially at longer ranges. This deviation occurs because the scope's line of sight is not parallel to the bullet's trajectory. The further the target, the more pronounced the error will be.

Modern scopes always have cross hairs centered. But can be off axis.

Anyone remember the side mounted scopes on the Win 30-30 lever actions. True meaning of off axis.
