Bulk Hornady 55 gr HPBT load data

Perhaps I am blind but I haven't been able to find manufacturer specific load data for this bulk HPBT Hornady 55 gr bullet purchased from Midway USA. I have the Hornady manual and looked at several other handbooks besides, and I don't see any data for reloading this specific bullet. Lots of data for 55 grains, but they're either FMJ or Vmax or SP but not this variant.

What do you recommend for this using TAC powder and CCI 400 primers? Both load and COAL. Thanks.

The link doesn't have Hornady info and as you see the Hornady screen capture doesn't show an entry for HPBT. So I just start with the FMJ data and work up from a low number?

Before we get too carried away, I don't see any indication of what cartridge you are loading. Makes a big difference.

Hornadys loading manual lists all 55 grain bullets under the same load info. They do have a separate MSR data though.

I may explore lighter loads. I don't care about speed, only accuracy at short range (100 yards).

Thanks but I'm just starting with TAC for light to medium loads and S062 (Shooter's World Precision) for medium/heavy. Don't want to get more powder till I know what I'm doing.

Also, everybody says Hornady minimum is too conservative. Can I safely start my load ladder half a grain higher?

I am going to politely decline that Hornady's minimums are too conservative. In my experience Hornady is often the highest charges for almost any given cartridge.
If you want conservative, go to the Berger books!

23.5 grains of TAC is what works best for me and is near the minimum so very safe load. You may want to work with the COAL. I usually find 2.25" works the best but will depend on your chamber and barrel.
