Bulk 223 brass. Everglades?

I use these guys and like the results. All sized to 0.000 Does need chamfer /debut but if that doesn’t bother you just prime and load.
Great prices.

I have never bought from Everglade, but Precision Brass out of Washington state sells once fired military brass, polished for $0.12 or less shipped with no sales fees out of the state. My dealings with them have been great over the last few years with multiple calibers on high quality brass, not fired out of machine guns.

My first 1k container of M&S 5.56/.223 brass showed up today in the mail. Well packed & inside a plastic heat sealed bag so nothing was lost in shipping. It is very nice totally processed brass & checking a few pieces with a cartridge gauge shows that it is in spec & the trim length is 1.760 +or- 0.005.

Some of the cartridge heads are not clearly marked due to wear, but that is just cosmetic, so I am uniforming the primer pockets to remove any ash & will start priming them in a few days.

All the brass is well polished & clean. Before actually priming the cases, make sure the swage is adequate as a few cases that were checked would damage a primer being inserted.

Since I run the .223/5.56 ammo thru my Ar-15's, the initial trim length of any brass I reload is 1.750 to allow for future growth. The first 1k of the M&S brass was not trimmed to my specs, so I ran it thru the UGLY trimmer to make them uniform. About half of it did trim off brass, but now it is all good to go & ready to be loaded.

M&S states that their brass is trimmed to 1.745 +or - 0.005, so this sale batch may have been a little off. There was exactly 1007 rounds in the buy, with 2 of them being .300 BO in perfect shape& three 5.56 cases had to be culled due to mouth damage, so their counting is very close. No, I didn't count the brass, I just used a full carton of small rifle primers plus a few extra to complete the batch.
