Buliding First Custom Rifle 6BRA

Good morning everyone

I want to have a 6BRA built and I have never done this before so I am looking for recommendations.
I like to shoot it at the rang and maybe for F-class. Can you recommaend an action, barrel, stock trigger and best place to purchase these parts and a gunsmith to put it all together. I am willing and able to spend the money this most likely be my only custom rifle so I want it to be right.

Please provide details on the parts.

If I were you I would focus first on finding a good 'smith. Then let him or her guide you on the components. They should also know the rules regarding rifle dimensions for various competitions. Man its gonna be fun!

My recommendation is to call Wheeler Accuracy and let Alex guide you through this. His work is Top Shelf and he has volumes of Bra experience. Good luck with your build.

Alex Wheeler perhaps has the most experience with the 6BRA. Jim Borden also builds very fine rifles and his actions are second to none. I've used Jim a couple times now.

I liked the first rifle Alex built me so much, I ordered another. Both are 6 BR Ackleys on BAT B’s with Krieger barrels.



Number three, a true heavy gun with the same stock (different colors this time!) poured solid, has already been ordered. Looking to end up with a rifle in the 24-26 pound range. Not a single disappointment here.
