After several hundred rounds have been fired thru it, I wonder what it can do @ 100 yds in good shooting conditions??

The NF 5.5x22 I had on it really wasn’t clear at 50 yrds so I’m surprised it printed that well with a blurry paster and my shady set up.
I lucked out pulling the bolt and just eyeballing the bore for the first shot being in it then I just fired 5 more.

Well I don’t know about that but here’s another surprise..... I personally don’t actually care for the fancy wood myself but it’s what the customers want!!

Nice RimX. Hope you enjoy finding ways to exploit its accuracy as much as I've enjoyed shooting several precision 22RF rifles that I've built for myself over the past four years. Started with a Stiller 2500XR/Krieger/Manners, then had Jonathan Elrod convert a couple of CMP 40Xs into repeaters to use V-22 mags, then bought a V-22 action and built a rifle on it, followed by a couple more V-22s. Finally got curious enough about Zermatt's RimX that I had to try one just to see how well their fixed extractor system works. It's not going to replace any of my V-22s, but it's a very interesting action, and I'm enjoying shooting it with its 22" Bartlein sendero contour bbl, TT Diamond trigger, Manners PRS1T stock, and Athlon Cronus 4.5-29x56 scope. Athlon sells several FFP & SFP scopes with parallax that focus down to 10yds - ideal for 22RF. Here's a shot of the last V-22 I put together, along with the new RimX behind it...love those .22s!
