Building a custom varmint rifle. What to build?

Sorry, I musta skimmed over your last post. I'm sure you'll LOVE the Dasher!
Just wanted to impress upon you that .22cal hotrods have very, very, very little competition when it comes to flat trajectory & wind bucking ability.

Have fun!

I talked to my gunsmith today and he said the Brux #3 barrel will bemail here in about 2 weeks and it will take him about a month to get me in his schedule and get everything put together & cerakoted

Hello Gary, I'm running the dasher on my coyote rigs. I do have a couple of JGS reamers for the new norma brass your gunsmith Is welcome to use for you. No turn necks and for the longer necks. I have one throated for the 105 115's and one throated for the 60-70 gr ish bullets. I'm running the shorter freebore reamer and the 60 gr sierra at 3850 and it sure puts the hurt on coyotes. The dasher with the 40 deg shoulder is kinda finicky to feed reliable and I ended up using the surgeon bottom metal with the primal right mag conversion, really reliable now for me. If interested on the reamers have your gunsmith PM me and I will send him what I have and he can ream a stub and may like what he see's for you. I've got 6 br and 6xc reamers as well, welcome to use what I have. Gonna do my next varmint buster on the 6xc maybe a little cheaper on magazine setup to get to feed more reliable, just my thinking. Bill

Bill thanks you I'll let him know, I know he has reamer and go & no go gauges but I'm not sure what he has. .The barrel ordered is 8tw and I was planning on shooting the 105"s to reach way out on the ground hogs.

My gunsmith is a machismo by trade (incredibly talented) and makes his own bottom metal that uses an aftermarket magazine, I can't remember the brand.(4 letters starting with an a) I already ordered the norma brass and I don't plan on turning necks.

Thanks a lot for the offer
