Building a 300PRC UK

So, bitten by reaching further out than my 284, so. going to build a 300PRC. It's going to be a 32" barrel on a single shot action (Borden BRLXD) in a McMillan A5 Supermag stock.
Couple of things I'm after some input on, bullets n brakes. What's availability of the heavy Bergers been like, was thinking 245 LR hybrid ?
Brakes; 'smith will thread, time and profile this, so what's your recommendations? Bear in mind I'm the other side of the pond....

Why not a 300 Norma? My buddy is pushing Berger 245s at 2k fps out of a 30" Bartlein, I'd never get those speeds with my 300 PRC.
Because I'm a woos . Treading gently going forward into big boys stuff. I'm thinking you mean 3kfps ?
The plan is a 32" barrel to try and get the best of it. I'd like to run the 245 LRHTs if I can find a batch of them.

I agree. I'm on my second 300PRC barrel and have played with 200 grain to 250 grain bullets. Both mine have clearly favored 215 to 220s. The 300NM has more boiler room for the heavies.
