BUILDING A 17 HMR

I want to built a 17 HMR bolt rifle with custom barrel. What are the donor rifles that have do it yourself barrel swaps. I know Tikka-Savage-Cz-Ruger-TC. Any more?

Why not simply buy a Cooper and preserve your value ?

You preserve the value when you DIY the original barrel back on. I have 3 barrels for my (old style) 77/22 - 22LR (original), 17Mach2, and 17 HMR. Newer 77/22's have threaded barrels.
