Build does not shoot. Need a little help.

Well I had put together my first "custom" rifle together. It seems to shoot really inconsistently.

Beaded by Mesa Precision

Action screws 65in lbs
Scope 20 in lbs and 45 in lbs to picatinny Checked twice and re installed.

The "break in"

Remove oil from barrel then shoot
Shoot 2 clean copper and carbon, bore scope to make sure. used 150GR reduced recoil
Shoot 4 clean copper and carbon, bore scope to make sure.

Ammo used

180SST superformance
180Gr Winchester super X
200Gr Hornady ELD-X

Shot off a bipod and bag

Weather semi calm wind 3-4mph L to R 40* in the AM to 60* by noon

Confirmation took my 6.5CM and shot a sub 1/2moa group

BDL and wyatt mag box was rubbing BDL removed then shot the second to final group of a one hole with Winchester super X let cool and shot the final group of the day with Winchester Super X

Federal Gold Medal or Berger is a good reference ammo. Try it. If not answer, ease off on the action screw torque according to the previous recommendations. If not answer, and most of the time this is a long shot, check your scope or mounting for loss of zero hold. I've seen and read about more scope issues cause folks to pull their hair out. And the majority were positive everything was mounted perfectly only to discover it was not. Check the simple fixes first, then you might have to delve a little deeper in detail.

Dang guys. Looks like the ELD ammo shot about 3/4" MOA. In my book, that is not considered too bad with factory ammo. I have a bunch of custom guns that shoot lights out with a favored load - and like crap with most other loads. To only try 3 types of factory ammo and get 3/4" MOA - maybe expectations were a bit high using factory ammo? I'd try Barnes and Federal and Remington at a minimum before passing judgement or replacing scopes, parts. I've never gotten my rifles to shoot their best load in three loads - handloads or not.
