Build a 6.5 PRC

I have been kicking around the idea of build a 6.5 PRC and possibly using a R700 or a Savage 7mm Mag for the Donor action. I've read where the are some feeding issues with this cartridge, maybe the center magazine feed on the Savage might be better. This would be primarily a hunting rifle so I don't want to spend a lot of money on getting it to feed. Too many other choices to be tortured by feeding issues. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions. I already have four or five 6.5CM.

If you are considering using a long action anyway, just make a 6.5-06. No feeding issues and lots of brass choices with only necking up or down.

I've built two PRC's on 700 long actions with standard BDL bottom metal, and have had zero feeding issues, but have learned to load the rounds to the front of the mag box for the best consistent results.
