Brux barrels

Fluted barrels from Brux run $410-$425 + shipping. What they're smokin' must be the difference.

Just for kicks...sent the guy a message asking why the high price. I guess their "proprietary" fluting runs $300. Then the retail cost of a barrel for $360, plus $20 shipping. On top of that, they take in consideration if you send them a blank, $20 to ship. $20 return shipping. Even on top that, they are adding in a cost for waiting for a new blank and 4 month wait for them to flue. Absolutely Ludacris highway robbery!

Did they say they were doing the fluting? If they are, unless they have some special arrangement with Brux, that would void Brux's warranty.

They did not. Just stated it was proprietary, lol. Huge load of BS...

These barrels were priced retail for $360 with $20 shipping from the manufacturer. The average wait time for quality barrels is 8 to 12 months. We charge $300 for floating, with all cuts being proprietary. If you receive a blank barrel, you will need to pay $20 to ship the barrel, on average wait 30 days to 4 months for fluting, and then $20 for return shipping. All unsold barrels will be used in house on high and precision rifle builds. Please contact us with any other questions, comments, or concerns. Brux send me an email to give them a call with a contact person.

I have not made the call as of this email, and I don't think I am in a big hurry to do so. if I do call them, I will make a post about the conversation.

I am at a total loss concerning the email.

PS: I never had made any negative comments about their company, nothing even close. I did say I would love to sell their products. I guess I am going to find out soon as curiosity is getting the best of me now.
