I placed an order for a .224 7.5 twist that will become a 22BR PD delivery pipe.

I felt the same way but rationalized that this one was available now as well as the forum posted a speed vs barrel length article a while back and the BR cartridge didn't lose much speed down to 28". Did I mention that I rationalized this purchase

@Acyr - the heavy Palma was sold out; somehow there was a duplicated .30 cal HP barrel out there.
