Can someone explain why they only sell in 20k lots? I can understand 2-5k. But 20k???

Why don't you ask them? They may just tell you.
My guess is, but I don't *know*, since I am a "walk in" customer there, but: Whenever I go in there the whole family is working like a bunch of one-armed paper hangers, mostly on pack and ship. I'm guessing it's just less work for the same $$$.

Usually when you buy bulk you get a break on price for the bulk purchase, not in this case @$135 a brick.

They're selling a lot of components in case lots; that saves the work of unpacking and re-packing stock. I've been seeing a lot of 10 x 1 lb and 4 x 8 lb powder sales. I'd guess that 4 x 5k primers is a full case.

I usually buy 2-4 8 lb jugs of powder and 1-3 5k primers at one time to spread the cost of hazmat and S&H. Sometimes i combine an order with a friend or two, but usually I'm laying in a stock of single lots of components to minimize testing/development. With bullets I usually buy enough to qualify for a free drop ship from the factory with a discount as well.

It doesn't hurt to ask for a discount -even if it's not posted on my last order from Lehigh Defense, I bought 5k bullets to get a 10% discount.

I'm afraid there ending up on Gunbroker to theres a guy in Washington started an LLC out of his house has bunch of primers for sale, makes it alot more profitable for guys like that to buy them in a big lot

Lot of truth to this for sure. Lots of guys can't do that big of order. Just makes it hard on the average reload er . Split it up where everyone can have a chance no matter the ship and hazmat tax.
