Browning wsm to saum

Ok I rebarreled a 270 wsm to a 6.5 saum thinking that should work great, you know both short mags.
Well it won't feed from the mag anymore anyone know of the best fix for this or?

Does this have a hinged floor plate? The case bodies are very similar what exactly is it doing?

It does have the hinged floor plate with magazine that clips in to it . The more I think about it I think I just need to close up the space between action and floor plate. When trying to load a round it will just jam before it can clear the mag. I just need to look closer I was thinking maybe there was a known issue with this job.

Usually tweaking the magazine spring helps feeding issues on the M70, 700 and 700 clone actions I have worked on.
