6.5-270 wsm held short

Im thinkn i can hold a 6.5-270 wsm short and use 6.5 saum brass and convert it to 35 degree and less taper.
Cant really find prints on the www to compare.
Anyone done this?

I'll send you a piece of Saum brass if you want to use that for a gage,

I thought WSM brass is fatter. Why not just put a 35 degree on a necked down SAUM? Matt

Sounds a bit like a 6.5 WSSM Ackley, but with a 35˚ sholder blown out instead. That would hold 50+ grains of powder below the neck. You don't say what your design objectives are.

SAMMI will have the specs on their website, some web search engines dont work with it. My phone defaul wont, but google usually does.
That will get you pretty close if you use sammi reamers.

Id just do a 40 degree then
4d rental has a 6.5-270wsm reamer
Yes theyre fatter i know. How much is the wuestion. Misty from JGS is sendn me over prints.
