Browning 1910 barrel bushing stuck

I have this browning 1910 I’m wanting to clean up but I can’t get it disassembled because of this barrel bushing. I’m pushing it in and twisting counterclockwise and it moves a tiny bit and gets stuck. I’ve sprayed CLP down it and let it soak but it doesn’t wanna come undone. Any tips?
Thanks

If I had to guess, I'd say it sounds like maybe the end of the recoil spring is wedged between the slide and bushing. You might try putting a piece of delrin or brass the same diameter as the bushing with a hole for the barrel to pass through and gently tap on it and see if it compresses in more. If it does, then you"ll have to figure out how to turn the bushing without damaging it. Unfortunately I can't give you an answer to that problem.

Have you tried using a piece of leather to apply more pressure onto the bushing?
