Broke trigger shoe, can it be replaced?

This is a first for me after all these years, i have a model 7 factory Remington trigger that has the wider shoe with groves in the blade of the trigger that broke clean off at the junction of the pin that you can see up inside the bottom of the trigger. It is a good trigger that was worked over and was wondering if you can buy a new trigger shoe to replace it. Looks like you can pop the pin and stuff out and put a new one in their if one is to be had. I am hoping i do not need to buy a new comeplete trigger for the action. Anyone have any recommendations on what to do?

Thanks,
Dan

Remington will not sell trigger parts. You will have to return it to Remington for a new trigger (they do not fix them), or buy an aftermarket trigger.

You must really be yanking on it, to break it…..LOL. I would go with a after market trigger. …….. jim

I have a trigger shoe off a 700 you can have, I had a set trigger installed on it that replaced the shoe.I don't know if it will work on yours or not,its not an x- mark.

Thanks a bunch guys. I had a fellow pm me who has a trigger like the one i have that is willing to sell. ;D Thanks for all your help.

Dan

I don't know about the model 7, but if a Rem 700 trigger breaks, you can always fire it by taking the safety off! 8)
