Holy COW it was warm out there for this match! Originally scheduled as a Palma match, I changed format to a 3 x 1000 yard match due to our ability to shoot the whole match from under cover -I think it was a welcome move! Conditions were mild, wind-wise, but HOT and HUMID.
Joe Fogg and his trusty .308 Palma rifle continued his winning ways, taking the overall win with a nice 1181-52X.
On the F-Open side, Monica Kokoszka took the win, with a really nice 1179-53X (not bad for a very infrequent Master-Class shooter!!) Well done, Monica!
We had a few 'new to us' shooters show up too, including Jon Cload, Jack Dean, Jessica Hendricks, and John Johnson -welcome aboard! I hope we didn't cook you too much, and that you will be joining us again soon!

Our next matches will be Mid-range/team matches on August 13-14th and Long-range/team matches on August 27-28.
The format is basically a 2 x 600 or 2 x 1000, followed by a single two-man team match for each day -should be fun!
