Bridgeport Romi 13-5 Lathe Issue

Due to space limitations that isn’t an option.

I have this on my Logan Powermatic 5 horse. Works beautifully. Never had a single issue and I run that thing hard.

Did you ever try moving the primary tap wire to 230V?

No I did not. I figured I would check it out with the fan first. Might still swap it to see though.

They work fine unless you have more than one thing to run and you only get about 2/3 of the horsepower, I have one on my Bridgeport clone, I will most likely change it out for a vfd though. I tried the static converter on my Chinese gear head mill and it did not like it at all. It has a power up and down feature for the head and it would kind of work, The feature would only work if the spindle was turning, Once I hooked it up to the rotary I got, It worked like it should.
