You might get a slightly lower price, but how can you be sure you are going to get the neck consistency? IMO, the brass preparation and consistent maintenance is the key to reloading. Most of us can resize, prime, powder and seat the bullet consistantley & accurately. Me personally, I had way to much variance in my brass neck turning and ruined too many cases.Other than DJ is there anyone else that does brass Service?

The only maintenance I do, other than cleaning, is to anneal my brass after every shot. I currently have 90pcs of 6 Dasher brass that I have loaded 20 times and it still shoots great. I shot no-turn necks, I just true them when new, never touch the necks again.You might get a slightly lower price, but how can you be sure you are going to get the neck consistency? Not that I can measure.Do you find that the neck thickness changes/varies as the brass moves?
