Brass runout Again

Been reading through as much as I can tolerate but, still nothing to send me in the right direction yet.

.223 expanded to .243 (6mm-223)

From virgin Win brass, K&M expander, lubed neck (Imperial).

I am getting seriously bad run out. Would you anneal it before expanding? Any other methods to expand brass and get it back to decent tolerances?

I may have removed a bit by using a tapered button (shortened closer to the neck) inside a Redding s match FL die. (the problem with the tapered button, it doesn't expand large enough, too much tension to seat a bullet, thus having to go through the K&M anyway)

I would anneal them first. Bet that helps a lot.

Using the tapered expander ball, then the K&M may make the transition less abrupt, even though it's an extra step.

You could blow them out with a fast burning powder and cream of wheat or toilet paper too.
