brass cleaning?

I have used every method available and just bought a sonic cleaner. I did not buy one sold for brass cleaning opting instead for something more substantial.

Set the timer to 30 minutes and then run it again. Primer pockets get cleaned. Do not use the heater. Tried that once and it darkened the brass.

After cleaning, I take the wire basket out and go to the sanitary tub, where I thoroughly rinse the brass and then take the basket outside to the air conditioner and set the basket on the top of the condenser. This blows warm air through the basket and dries the brass in about thirty minutes. Sometimes I finish up[ with a session in the walnut machine. Brass is shiny as new and very little effort.

Of all the methods I have used this is the best. You don't have to change the cleaning solution after every use either. No stainless steel to pick out of brass either.

Agree , way to much put into all this , it's all personal preference , if it works for you do it... There's people that don't clean brass at all... I run mine through Walnut to keep carbon out of the dies , that's all , well once again to get the imperial wax off them.. Honestly when the brass starts shooting bad I throw it in the recycling bin and get another set together... Carbon being one of the hardest things out there , I simply don't want it doing damage to my dies...
