What is the better choice for a BRA barrel , 7.5 Krieger or 7.83 Brux ?

I'm looking at possibly shooting some mid range , I have some 105 hybrids, 108 VLDs, And also some Barts 105 Infiniti's.

I think I remember not long ago @BartsBullets mentioned he was still able to get barrels from James, maybe he knows if he is still in business.

The ABC 1-8” twist barrels I have used were better than the two you mentioned…and I’ve used multiples of the 2 mentioned. That said, both of the barrels mentioned will shoot great and it will be hard to notice the difference between them.

I totally agree the ABC barrels are excellent but like Ledderer barrels which I feel are the best out there but if you can't get them it doesn't matter how good they are.
I've had barrels on order from ABC for going on 3 years but I've pretty much given up on seeing them.

You will see them. Anthony is a man of integrity and true to his word. He is currently working hard on finishing his shop at his new location in Alabama. He will be making barrels again very soon. His barrels are worth the wait. Of all the barrels I have experience with (multiples from most all the barrel manufacturers), ABC’s are my favorite.

I used to believe that cut rifled barrels were the best (not from experience but from reading about people’s often uninformed opinions on barrel manufacturing). Then I tried a Schneider and a Broughton. Both shot great so I began using both cut rifled and premium button rifled barrels. It is my informed opinion now from experience that both methods can create great barrels…and ABC’s are great barrels.
