Br 4 vs 205m

I know this is an outlier but I did a primer test using a Savage 223 precision rifle, the one with the chassis, and the Federal M AR primer was by far the most accurate and the CCI #41 was at the bottom. from what I have seen, the Federal M AR primers are overlooked for shorter ranges. Maybe because they are for the AR.

My take on primers is that there is no one primer more accurate than another provided it is not defective. Certainly one primer will work better than another in a certain load in a certain rifle but in the next rifle it could be another primer. I had a Varmint barreled 25/06 Parker Hale that loved the CCI 250 with IMR 4831. Burnt the throat out and changed barrels. In the new one the CCI 200 was the best primer with the load that gave me my best accuracy. I believe they are all good just have to test to find the one that suites your needs best. JMO
