Boyds At-One stock

The Boyds AT-ONE is an excellent choice for a rifle that is going to be used for a child or small framed shooter. Works great for a full sized guy as well. Lots of adjustments and options with this stock. What I don't like about it is all the sharp edges and angles. Not comfortable for me at all. I don't like the sharp edge for the cheek weld or the on the forearm where you need to hold onto it. As far a budget cost adjustable stock I don't think they can be beat, I just cant seem to get comfortable with one.

I've got one on a 6x45 bolt rifle, and use it with a BE rest and rear bag on a bench. It's comfy for me, 6', 200#, 35" sleeve length. Lots of adjustments, but if you remove the bolt alot the cheek riser gets in the way. Sometimes the adjustment buttons are hard to deal with (old and weak hands) but once set, they don't move. The edges are sharp than most stocks but does not affect my set up at all.

I have one on my Savage 12FV and like it. I'm 6'2" and it has plenty of adjustment for me. As mentioned, the buttons to extend the cheek rest and buttstock can be finicky at times.

I have the ATOne for a Savage SA,HV barrel ,Took out the 1/2' long plactic collar in front action hole, installed steel pillars ,glass bedded it, for $200 + 14 for pillars + 35 for Devcon10110 Steel expoxy, a Great stock

I was also looking into this stock.
It looks like for the price and features its a great buy. I'm not sure what sharp edges it has on it, but seems to me that this could be easily resolved with a file or some sand paper ? It be nice to actually see one in the wild.

Bear in mind, they do have upgraded plastic parts for the AT-One.
Gets rid of the "sharp edges". The upgraded handgrip.is fuller and more rounded.
But it all comes with additional cost.

I have the CZ457 AT-One and it is a decent stock, but it doesn't have enough adjustment in the cheek riser or the LOP for me. I have it maxed out and it is still too short on both for me. I think it would be great for a child however.

I have a Boyd's Pro Varmint on a Remington 783. It's OK, but laminate stocks are to heavy for my taste. I bought that stock off Ebay for $70.

If I were looking to buy a stock with adjustable features, I would be considering the KRG Bravo. Especially when I consider the bedding system. Yes, it's a little more expensive, but definitely worth consideration.

It is a great stock if you are looking for something that is inexpensive and adjustable for adults or kids. I have two, one paired with a Savage 223 action and one with a Tikka T1x action and am happy with the combination on both.

If you want a bag rider for the At-One, for bipod-bag shooting, you can get a Bag Rider here

I have 2 of these stocks and every edge on them are sharp. Not a stock I would want to be hiking with but works well on my pdogs guns

How about some details on the rear support you've developed? Is this set up for sitting in a chair or ??
I bought the rear rest years ago. Sorry can't remember who or where I got it from. Yes, it's for sitting on the ground or in a predator or other very low chair. I modified the AT One forearm to accept a picatinny rail and use a quick detachable swivel attach unit for the Harris bipod. In order to have the rifle at the proper height for me sitting on the ground with the legs fully extended, I cut four inches off the bottom legs of the bipod.

Edit: Found it, called a bipod buddy.

I got one when it first came out a few years ago. I didn't like it....ended up returning it. The cheekpiece didn't seem very stable when it was raised up.
