Thanks hipshooter, you are 100% correct about little boys learning about life by doing and learning from what happened to them to set the standards we all live by now. The rare spankings, (LOL) we got simply helped us along the path of growing up to being the people we are today.

The train yards and shipyards and the standard oil refinery with its rod and gun club opened up my mind as a child and helped form who I am now. I am also sure that watching the standard oil workers shooting firearms there on their days off, may be one of reason's for my gun addiction, ... I mean hobby of course!
