Bought a rifle today, 6x45 what can you tell me about this?

I have a 1-10 BHW 24", I also window the front of magazine for longer COAL.
I'm looking at SWP load data for 556 80gr, considering trying it under a 80gr Bart's Dominator.
Thoughts?
I started my load experiments based on the Predator forum database. I've never looked at the SWP data.

Working both sets of data against each other I'm thinking about starting at 24gr.

Here is a picture of the rifle in the new stock.
Shot some more test loads tonight trying Accurate 2015 powder and Sierra 70gr match kings. At 200 yards I got a .340 group with 24.0gr with velocity of 2822 ES 11 / SD 6.1. Not real sure about this powder as it hates to be a full case? Less shoots better? Funny though, 24.0 grains is also Sierras accuracy load... weird

Do you have any W748, h322?
couple of powders my rifle seems to like.

H322 was very accurate with 68gr Bart's Avengers, W748 and 80gr Dominator just shot smaller for me. CCI450's
What load was you running with the H322 and the 68gr? I just found a 1/2 pound I didnt realize I had so I'm going to get a start working up a load. I'm thinking somewhere between 23.5 and 25.0.
Are those Bart's Dominators flat base or boat tails?

H335 load work up, I'm looking for H322. 16196422505867968915594679198430.jpg
More loads.
@500 the 70gr Berger's fell short of steel where the varmintgeddon and Bart's hammered.
Still looking for H322 16196424914221342165925486185723.jpg
More scribbles...16196428103238994405618181251353.jpg
I went up to 26.9gr benchmark, ES&SD are for 3 shots over magneto speed.16196433299969134572825720496985.jpg
After scouring my notes all I can find for H322 is OCW charge from 24-25 gr
I'll have to dig out some targets to get more info. I'm positive seating depth was a carry over from prior testing.

I've tried some H322 last August IIRC, and have some loaded up with 70g TNT's using Hodgdon's load data via their website. I also tried it with 58g & 75g vmaxes, My gun did not like the 75g combo but preferred the 58g vmax & 70g TNT based on my limited testing last year. I've got about 5# left to continue to see what really works.

Did a load test today with H335 and 68gr Berger FB bullets and tried a couple of different primers. Still not sure about the ES/SD numbers as some of them shot really good with sucky numbers?
Heres the target from 200yds.

I have a Kreiger barreled 6x45 8" twist that is wonderful. Current pet load is SMK 95's over 26.0 TAC at 2780fps, have started experimenting with 107's and they show promise too. If I can get 2600+ out of them I might try it in a PRS club match for fun.

Looks like you got a nice shooter there Lefty! I love me a good 6x45! Money well spent!

With advice from painter I tried a quick test with VV N133 and that woke it up! It really likes that powder and with a brief test it shot a .413 at 200yds with velocity of 3179 ES 4 / SD 1.8 with 5 shots, 68gr Berger flat base and 25.3gr N133. If I can find more of it I need to play with this powder more...

I have an 18" Shilen barreled ar15 in 6x45. Try speer 70gr TNT for a cheap bullet. They shoot amazingly well for me over imr8202xbr.

What load of XBR did you settle on for the 70gr bullets?
Right now I can't find anything to shoot in it. I have a thousand of the Berger 68gr flat base target bullets on the way but who knows when they will arrive?
Turns out it dont like the N133 powder at all, worked pretty good at short range but went to crap at distance. Seems to be doing the best with 8208XBR or even better with H4895.
