Bought a pcps priming system

I looked at the rcbs, hornady and Lyman priming tools far as bench mounted systems go. Watched a few videos on them then saw the f class John video on the pcps system. I been using a hand primer for years. But priming 100 plus pieces of brass with one starts to hurt the hand. Have alot reloading to do this year.

Love my PCPS. I bought the complete set, although I will likely use it mostly for small primers. It's easy to change it over anyway. Very accurate seating. I have it mounted on a Harrels press, right next to the Redding decapper. A friend has sourced some stainless tubes and also made an adaptor to make loading the tube from the Dillon "pick up tubes", to prevent any spilling. He has also drilled for a "R" clip to make removing a loaded tube easier, should I want to switch primers.

Hey Feller, I had to look that up to see what you were talking about. Found out that I have been using one for a couple of years also but didn't recognize the name. Ordered it from Amazon and called it a Draco (probably isn't the right spelling) . I like mine a lot and use it regularly. I keep mine mounted on a spare press and just move it to where ever I need it...IMG_20240607_182059385.jpg

I bought the complete set as well.
You are going to really like the PCPS tool. I've had mine a couple years now and it is far and away the best for me and my arthritic hands. NO MORE CRAMPS in my hands or fingers. Yay!! Enjoy your purchase.
I can’t wait to use it to prime 223 I will load close to 500-600 rds for our highpower season. This year I want to prime it all and it be ready to load.

I tried a lot of handpriming tools over the last 15 yrs, and the RCBS and Forster bench tools. Couldn't justify adding the Holland kit to the RCBS, liked the Forster better, but, didn't really like the tubes on the Forster, RCBS was better in that dept. Derraco PCPS was the next step, shud have done it when it first came out. Definitely done with handprimers now. PCPS is far nicer to use than anything else I've tried,it does what it's supposed to, without any drama involved, and it's easy on the constitution.
