Bottom Metal question

I recently bought a Rem 700 LA .270 ADL to be used in a .280AI build. I would like to convert to BDL configuration. I have an opportunity to buy BDL hardware taken from a Rem 700 300 Weatherby Mag.

Will the difference in the width between the feed rails present problems? Will the magnum bottom metal work properly with the .280?

Should work without problems as it's the same box and bottom metal. Even the mag follower will help improve .280AI feeding.
