Boron Nitrite Users--what is your cleaning regimen

What is your opinion of the boron nitrite?
I just got a box of the DTAC BN coated bullets to try.
What is your cleaning technique, how often, and how
far do you go removing the coating when you do clean?
Your input appreciated.

I shot a few thousand BN 115 DTAC's in a .243 I had and would only clean about every 200 rounds or so. I used Wipeout when I did clean. I spoke to David Tubb about this at length, and what I found with Boron Nitride is that it does not "coat" the barrel like moly can. He found the same thing.

Therefore, there is no need, in my mind, to scrub your barrel to get the BN out. Clean as you would regularly clean and you'll be good. It was surprising to have so little copper and powder fouling.

Hope this helps.

After reading this - http://theswissriflesdotcommessageboard.yuku.com/topic/9031/hBN-again-and-this-time-I-ll-leave-it#.UPCANKxe9Ol - I coated a bore that had 69 rounds thru it. I liked the results so well, I coated another bore (6XC) before firing the first shot thru it. 573 rounds later, I see no ill effects. I dry patch every 20 to 40 rounds and that second barrel has never seen any chemical of any kind (if you don't count the alcohol that the hBN is suspended in) :) . As far as cleaning goes, the first patch goes down the bore once and it comes out BLACK. The second patch goes down twice and this continues until the 6th patch goes down the bore 6 times. Then I'm done.
