There is the Hawkeye Borescope that is USA made if you care to spend that much.
They are excellent. The angled eyepiece is nice to have.

If you want clear images, you'll want one that focuses. I have the model you mentioned and the focus feature works a lot better than the ones where you need to adjust the mirror on the end.

Teslong bore scopes matched with your computer screen is as good as it gets.

Brownells used to sell the Hawkeye Precision Borescopes, but now sell only 2 Teslong.

A Google search for the Hawkeye revealed nothing.

I bought mine from Bruos back in those times, seems I remember catching a sale for $575.

I just went to Hawkeye's site, holy balls have they ever went up in price!!

PS. I wouldn't post anything if I didn't have personal knowledge of the subject.
Of course, the point of my post is that your cell phone was, in part, made in China - along with several other east Asian locations.

Thinking of buying a borescope. Was looking at Teslong NTG200H for $225. Is it any good or should I look at something else?

Did you buy it? If you did how do you like it?

The way business works, when slow or competition offers something like a $50 option driving them out of the spectrum
a company like them has to raise their prices enough to compensate for lack of income to stay in business when they slow down like that.

raise prices too much and they ensure they go out of business
if they don't raise their prices to a certain point, they won't even break even
They must be reaching for their last lifeline before going under

I have the Teslong that sells for $50-$60. It uses your cellphone as the monitor. Works super!

I believe the Hawkeye is US made. When they pop up in the classifieds they're around $800, but prices seem to be dropping slowly. Unsure if they're still being made.

Yep - I bought the Hawkeye probably 18 or 20 years ago and absolutely love it. Newer models allow for photo and video, which would be very desirable to folks like me. If a used, reasonably priced Hawkeye with those features pops up - would be worth a look. I also try to avoid Chinese anything - as difficult as that is in these times. The Hawkeye is, per the manufacturer, still made in the US.
