Brunos used to stock the HawkeyeBrownells used to sell the Hawkeye Precision Borescopes, but now sell only 2 Teslong.
A Google search for the Hawkeye revealed nothing.
I bought mine from Bruos back in those times, seems I remember catching a sale for $575.Brunos used to stock the Hawkeye
and back in the day, thats all we had
starting at $600 for a base model
It is a copy/paste from an AI response.Looks like a copy and paste from AI, which i have found to not be accurate with several searches recently. I am sorry for this post turning this direction. An American made borescope would be nice
Thinking of buying a borescope. Was looking at Teslong NTG200H for $225. Is it any good or should I look at something else?
I went and looked too --- DANGGGG! doubled at leastI bought mine from Bruos back in those times, seems I remember catching a sale for $575.
I just went to Hawkeye's site, holy balls have they ever went up in price!!![]()
Yep - I bought the Hawkeye probably 18 or 20 years ago and absolutely love it. Newer models allow for photo and video, which would be very desirable to folks like me. If a used, reasonably priced Hawkeye with those features pops up - would be worth a look. I also try to avoid Chinese anything - as difficult as that is in these times. The Hawkeye is, per the manufacturer, still made in the US.Not for $50-100. No borescope for you...
I believe the Hawkeye is US made. When they pop up in the classifieds they're around $800, but prices seem to be dropping slowly. Unsure if they're still being made.
